Bluetooth Capabilities: CropX Sensor and the App

The Bluetooth connection on our sensor provides you with seven different applications to troubleshoot and verify sensor readings.
  1. Installation Transmission Verification: Check whether the sensor measured a transmission from the place of installation. 
  2. Installed Sensor Diagnostics: Instantly check an installed sensor’s measurements, battery and sensor transmission to confirm they are appropriate. 
  3. Pre-installation Sensor Diagnostics: Instantly check a hibernating sensor’s measurements, battery and sensor transmission to confirm they are appropriate. 
  4. Network Change: Change the network the sensor connects to. 
  5. Download Data: Download data from the sensor and upload it to the cloud 
  6. BLE Scanner: Scan for Bluetooth devices in an area to find sensors 
  7. Factory Reset: Fix incorrect Bluetooth names or “Access Point Names” in the unit.

        Generally the battery lasts one season, about 8 months to one year. It depends on the reception in the area, a lower reception will lead the sensor battery running out faster. The transmission intervals will also impact battery life.
