CropX Telemetry Installation Guide

1. Unpack & Inspect

  • Remove the unit from the packaging and check for any visible damage.

2. Assemble the Antenna

  • Attach the magnetic antenna base to the top of the metal bracket.
  • Secure the antenna ‘whip,’ which was stowed for shipping.

3. Powering On

  • The unit powers on automatically—there is no ON/OFF switch.
  • Once sensors are connected, open the CropX mobile app and follow the installation process to complete setup.

4. Checking Battery Voltage

  • Measure voltage using the outer two pins:
    • 4.2V = Full (100%)
    • 3.4V = Empty (0%)

5. Charging Indicator LED

  • Solid Light = Charging
  • Blinking Light = Fully Charged
  • Ensure the unit is fully charged before starting the season.

6. Important Note

  • The antenna and solar panel connector come pre-assembled for convenience.
