How Often Do CropX Sensors Take Readings?

    This article will explain how frequently a CropX sensor takes readings and transmits data from those readings to the CropX App.

  • CropX sensor takes a reading every 30 minutes
  • The readings are transmitted every 12 hours to elongate battery life
  • Transmission frequency can be reduced or increased on request for most sensors.
  • To request changes in reporting time, email support@cropx.com or call 888-832-2767. 
  • When requesting changes, please be sure to include the following details:

    • The QR code of the device
    • The field or location where the device is installed
    • The time frequency reporting interval requested
