How to Perform Pre-Installation Diagnostics

This guide walks you through how to perform pre-installation diagnostics on a CropX sensor using the CropX Mobile App.

Running diagnostics before installation helps ensure your sensor is functioning properly and avoids issues in the field during installation.

Prerequisites:

1. Access to the CropX Mobile App
   
2. V4 Sensor with accessible QR code
   
3. Stable internet connection

How-To Steps

1: On the CropX WebApp, locate the "More" button on the bottom right of the screen

2: Select "Sensor Tools" under Devices

Select "Sensor Tools" under Devices

3:  Choose the option for "Pre-Installation" from the list of device actions

Choose Pre-installation from this list

4: Follow the on screen steps starting with scanning your sensor's QR code.  Stay on this screen as the process continues:

Follow the self guided steps within the app

5:  When completed, you'll receive a results screen to confirm that the sensor completed all of the steps. 

Repeat these steps if the sensor fails to complete pre-installation.
