Gives you a 'snapshot' of today's soil moisture, yesterday's soil moisture, and tomorrow's soil moisture.
Today's moisture is indicated by the large rain drop in the middle. We can see yesterday's status indicated by the smaller rain drop below and tomorrow's estimated status at the top.
The moisture status reflected on the bar spans the continuum from refill to full and will determine where our sensor falls upon that span.
The bar will use the profile sum graph and setpoints by default, but if you set up a root zone setpoint, it will utilize that.
In the case multiple sensors are installed within the field, the one with the lowest moisture level will be the leading sensor reflected upon the status bar.
