CropX Vision is a mobile and web tool that lets vineyard teams measure plant-level water stress using a smartphone camera — delivering leaf water potential readings at scale, without a pressure chamber.
WHAT CROPX VISION DOES
CropX Vision uses your phone’s camera to capture images of vine leaves and calculate leaf water potential, measured in bars. The result tells you how stressed your vines are right now, at the individual vine level.
Any team member with a smartphone can take readings — no specialized equipment or training required. Sessions work on-the-go, including while driving an ATV through the vineyard.
HOW IT WORKS
The CropX Vision workflow has three steps:
1. Capture — Open the CropX Vision app, point your camera at vine leaves, and take photos.
2. Analyze — The app uses computer vision to calculate a leaf water potential score in bars, shown as a session average.
3. Review — Sessions sync automatically to the CropX web dashboard, where you can track trends across your fields and over time.
WHERE TO FIND CROPX VISION
• Mobile App — Download “CropX Vision” from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). This is where you take readings in the field.
• Web Dashboard — Log in to myfarm.cropx.com. Navigate to Main Menu → CropX Vision to see an account-level overview of all your Vision sessions.
