Transition Resources

How will the transition work?

The CropX team has been hard at work recreating all the Tule data you're used to seeing in the CropX app. The data migration will begin on December 15, after which you can log into CropX with your existing Tule credentials. Your fields, devices, and data will appear automatically. No hardware needs to be replaced, and no downtime occurs during the transition.
The Tule app will be shut down on Dec 31st, 2025.

Top 5 Things to Know When You Log In

  1. Your same Tule login works: no password changes required. Go to www.cropx.com and click Login on the top right.
  2. All your current and historical data and devices appear automatically on the Dashboard after December 8, 2025.
  3. Important Terminology changes: FieldStat is now called ET Index, a Ranch is now a Farm, and a Block is a Field.
  4. The CropX app is available on web and mobile, which will make accessing data easier.
  5. There are many exciting features to explore, including satellite data, different graph types, disease control, and nutrition monitoring.

CropX Dictionary

  1. FieldStat → ET Index
The name has changed, but the calculation and stress logic are identical to Tule.
  2. Block → Field
CropX refers to blocks as “fields.”
  3. Ranch → Farm
A Farm is a group of fields, and can be managed like a ranch.
  4. Daily Summary tab → Dashboard
The Dashboard shows all field statuses so you know what needs attention, but you can drill down to the field or sensor level.
  5. Sensors
The CropX app lets you focus in onto specific sensors as well as reviewing the moisture needs of the whole field.

FAQs

Answers to the most common questions about the Tule-to-CropX transition.

Will my login credentials change?
No, the same email and password you used with your Tule account will work on CropX.

What happens to my historical data?
All your historical Tule data is safely preserved and fully accessible within the CropX platform.
By default, you will see up to three years of historical records, including graphs, summaries, irrigation logs, and stress indicators.
If you need access to older data, just contact CropX Support and we can provide additional years.
Your historical data remains tied to your original fields, devices, and crop setups, so everything appears exactly where you expect it.

Do I need new hardware?
No additional hardware is required. Your existing Tule Tower continues to work exactly as before, and all data flows seamlessly into CropX without any changes or reinstallations.
As a CropX user, you can choose to upgrade your field with optional advanced hardware (ET sensors, rain gauges, soil sensors, and pressure switches) for additional insights and improved accuracy.

Will my irrigation recommendations change?
Your irrigation recommendations will remain exactly the same as what you are used to from Tule.
CropX has fully adopted the Tule methodology, including the same stress logic, ET Index calculations, and mass-balance approach.
Your workflow stays consistent, accurate, and familiar.
CropX also offers optional enhancements—such as neural-network refinement and crop-specific lookup tables—whenever you are ready to explore them.

Can I use both platforms during the transition?
You can continue to use the Tule website while getting familiar with CropX through Dec 31, 2025. Your data will keep flowing to both during this transition period.

Will there be downtime?
None at all. Your data continues to flow, your towers stay connected, and your insights remain available throughout the entire transition.
The only action required is to log in to CropX instead of the Tule app, using the same username and password you already have.

What if I have both CropX soil sensors and ET towers?
CropX supports both and displays them together in one unified view.
On each field page, you’ll see:
    1. Soil moisture graph with refill/optimal/full indicators
    2. ET Index bar and ETa graph
    3. Irrigation and rainfall events
    4. Stress status and canopy insights
CropX automatically highlights whichever device is most relevant to your crop’s current stage or conditions. This gives you a complete picture without switching apps.

What does all of this mean for me as a Tule user?
It means your daily workflow becomes simpler, faster, and more powerful, without losing anything you rely on today.
You keep:
    1. The same data you trust
    2. The same stress logic and methodology
    3. The same field-level insights
    4. The same username and credentials
    5. All of your historical information
You gain:
    1. A unified platform for all devices (ET towers, soil sensors, weather stations, rain gauges, pressure switches)
    2. A cleaner, faster interface
    3. The Dashboard which shows all field statuses together
    4. Mobile + web access with synchronized design
    5. More customizable notifications and alerts
    6. Easy expandability for additional fields and sensors
    7. Improved user-role flexibility, making it easier to manage access, permissions, and visibility across your organization
    8. Advanced reporting for ET Index, water stress, irrigation summaries, and more
How do I access the mobile app?
Download the CropX app from the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

What will happen to Tule Vision?
Tule Vision will remain available on the Tule website and in the Tule Vision app for now. It will move to CropX in Phase Two of the migration.
